Welcome to
Tuesday Night Time Trials 2011!
Hosted by
Welcome to the 2011 MN race season, and get ready for a great year of TNT! This year will see some great changes and additions, and we expect a great race series to unfold.
What's staying the same in 2011:
Race cost: We are keeping the entry fees the same. $20 day of, $15 pre-reg, $50 1/2 series pass, $90 full-series pass. No extra online registration fee.
What's new (or changed) for 2011:
Website: The website and registration is now hosted under the Twin Cities Spoke IC3 club domain. Click here for the TNT page.
Registration: Registration is through our club website. There is no extra online registration fee.
Race categories: We are introducing a "stock" category for those who race on non-TT bikes.
Start location: The start is being moved back to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Community (Co. Rd 24 & Brockston Ln in Wayzata). This is where it used to be, and where the turnaround was in 2010. Basically we're reversing the course from last year. This should make for better parking, spectating, general socializing, and safety.
Course safety: We are adding race signs and course marshals at key intersections to provide additional visibility and safety to racers.
Sponsors: We already have some great sponsors lined up so far to provide support and prizes.
Prizes: We are expanding the prize list, creating top-5 overall depth and both aero and stock categories.
More prizes!: Thanks to great support from some of our sponsors, we have some unbelievable raffle prizes! Check out the website for details. Each paid race entry gets you a raffle entry. Keep an eye out for more ways to get entries! (eg: prepay a full series pass and get 10 entries: 1 for each race + 2 bonus entries)
Burger Night!: The end of the series cookout was a hit, so we are bringing it back more often! Look for three cookouts to offer you a chance to hang out, get to know other racers, eat free food, and just have a good time. Bring your family and friends.
TNT Race Sponsors: The list isn't complete yet but thanks so much to the people and companies that help make this event happen (and get you good prizes)
